My recent Easter stay at Domus Ciliota was a delightful experience. the former Augustinian monastery's serene atmosphere instantly enveloped us as we walked through the large inner garden, the perfect spot for morning coffee or a sunset aperitivo. the modern rooms, complete with all necessary amenities, provided a cozy refuge after a day of exploring the historic center of Venice. the complimentary continental breakfast was a lovely touch, offering a variety of freshly prepared options to start the day right in this charming setting. The hotel's strategic location allowed for easy access to the main sights, with the Vaporetto stop just a short walk away. Walking along Salizada Malipiero to reach the bustling St Mark's Square added a touch of local charm to our daily adventures. the friendly and accommodating staff made us feel at home, always ready to assist with recommendations and ensuring our stay was memorable. the peaceful surroundings and comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep, preparing us for another day of exploration in this enchanting city. Overall, Domus Ciliota proved to be the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and authenticity during our time in Venice. Whether you are a solo traveler, a couple, or a family with pets like us, this pet-friendly hotel caters to all, making it a top choice for those seeking a true Venetian experience in the heart of San Marco. I would certainly return to this hidden gem in the future for its exceptional value and warm hospitality.
